Public requested to help identify vehicles at laundromat

Police are requesting the public’s assistance to identify persons who were in vehicles that were observed leaving a laundromat on the night of Nov. 17, according to a spokesman.

Police believe the homicide took place between 8 p.m. and 9 p.m. Friday, Nov. 17, at the Maple Hill Laundromat, in the 2400 block of South 34th Street.

Today police identified the victim as December Htoo, 15, of Kansas City, Kansas.

Detectives would like to speak with individuals in the vehicles leaving the laundromat. According to a spokesman, the occupants of these vehicles are not believed to be the suspects at this time, but they may be able to assist the police investigation.
