A public informational meeting is scheduled from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday, June 4, on the K-7 corridor project in Wyandotte and Leavenworth counties.
The meeting will be held at the Lansing Community Center, basement of Lansing City Hall, off K-7 in Lansing.
The Kansas Department of Transportation is holding the meeting to present and discuss interim intersection improvement strategies along a portion of K-7 from Parallel Parkway in Wyandotte County to Gilman Road in Leavenworth County.
At the evening meeting, KDOT and the consulting team will provide information on this study effort and discuss recommended intersection improvements during two formal identical presentations at 5:15 p.m. and 6:15 p.m.
Recommended intersection interim improvement strategies will be on display. KDOT and consultant staff members will be present to discuss the study and answer questions.
The Kansas Department of Transportation, the cities of Basehor, Lansing, Leavenworth and the Unified Government of Wyandotte County-Kansas City, Kan., are working together to develop interim intersection improvement strategies for the K-7 corridor.
