Public asked to help find truck

Police are seeking the public’s help to locate an F-150 truck.

It is a “vehicle of interest” in a case involving a shooting in the 2500 block of Ridge Avenue on May 30. A 16-year-old teen, Jamie J. Hernandez-Zubia, was found dead from an apparent gunshot wound at that location.

The Kansas City, Kan., Police Department’s major case unit is asking for assistance to locate a vehicle described as:

• Late 90s or early 2000s F-150 Flare Side truck
• White
• Regular cab
• Tinted windows
• 20-inch chrome rims
• A “touch screen” device in the cab
• Will possibly have a bullet hole in the tail gate
