Monday, Dec. 16, will be the last day for residents to drop off “Holiday Cards for Heroes” at U.S. Rep. Sharice Davids’ offices.
The greeting cards from residents of the 3rd District will be sent to active military service members.
In a news release, Rep. Davids urged members of the community to share their gratitude for service members and spread holiday cheer by writing a note to service members.
Holiday cards should be placed in envelopes that are not sealed, according to the news release.
The holiday cards may be dropped off Monday, Dec. 16, at Rep. Davids’ Kansas City, Kansas, office at 753 State Ave., Suite 460, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., or at the Overland Park office at 7325 W. 79th St., Overland Park, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. The offices are open Mondays through Fridays.
