Residents are invited to a program on soil mapping information at 11:30 a.m. Thursday, May 10, at the Sunflower Room, Wyandotte County Extension Office, 1208 N. 79th St., Kansas City, Kansas.
The Soil Conservation Service in Wyandotte County offers soil mapping services, as well as soil erosion, pollution and storm water management.
Those attending the presentation May 10 by Lonnie Miller, soil scientist, will find out how they can use the soil mapping information as it pertains to their own property.
Registration is not required. There is a $5 fee payable at the door. There will be no fee for certified Extension Master Gardeners.
