A program about life planning and retirement will be offered from 9 a.m. to noon on two Wednesdays, Nov. 5 and 12, at Welborn Community United Church of Christ, 5217 Leavenworth Road, Kansas City, Kan.
The program is sponsored by the Shepherd’s Center of KCK’s Next Chapter Kansas City.
“Aligning Passion and Purpose in the Next Chapter of Life” will explore options for work, service and learning.
Participants will have the opportunity to explore, evaluate and experience the thinking and tools that will assist them in achieving a productive and satisfying life, or in making a transition from retirement to their “Next Chapter.”
There will be no financial services or products offered for sale at this workshop.
Those interested should attend both sessions of the class.
The cost of the class is $20 per person or $10 for Next Chapter Kansas City members. The class size is limited to 20, on a first-come, first-served basis. A limited number of $10 scholarships are available.
