A Prayer Breakfast and Forum for Peace in the community will be held from 9 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 10, at Blessed Sacrament Family Center, 22nd and Parallel, Kansas City, Kan.
The event includes invitations for community leaders and pastors, and is sponsored by the Knights and Ladies of St. Peter Claver at Our Lady and St. Rose Church.
Archbishop Joseph Naumann will begin the forum with prayer.
Canned goods will be collected for Catholic Charities. Reservations were requested by Sept. 6. For more information, call 913-647-0317.
