According to the Kansas Department of Transportation, pothole patching will occur on northbound and southbound I-635, from Metropolitan Avenue to the Missouri River, and eastbound and westbound I-70 from 61st Street to the Missouri state line, Tuesday, June 30, weather permitting.
Work will occur from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. and traffic will be controlled by alternating mobile lane closures using trucks with arrow boards and digital message boards, according to a spokesman.
KDOT urged all motorists to be alert and obey the warning signs when approaching and driving through a highway work zone, the spokesman stated.
