Police identify two persons who died at Walmart parking lot

Kansas City, Kansas, police have identified two persons who were found dead Sunday in the Walmart parking lot near 108th and Parallel Parkway.

The two persons died from carbon monoxide, and the deaths now have been ruled accidental, police said.

The victims were Carolyn K. Williams-Cottier, 26, of Kansas City, Kansas, and Trevor B. Roth, 30, of Dodge City, Kansas, police said.

Police discovered the two about 7:33 a.m. April 23 in the Walmart parking lot, inside a vehicle. An autopsy revealed the cause of death was carbon monoxide and the deaths were ruled accidental, according to police.
