A standoff ended without incident this afternoon in the 600 block of Nebraska Avenue in Kansas City, Kansas.
According to a Kansas City, Kansas, police spokesman, one of the subjects in a robbery case was taken into custody without incident at 11:47 a.m. Friday, June 23, while another subject was taken into custody without incident while leaving the residence about 4:20 p.m. Friday, June 23.
Detectives had been watching a residence in the 600 block of Nebraska today after receiving information that two suspects from an armed robbery were inside.
After one subject exited, officers believed there was another person inside the residence refusing to come out, and a barricade incident developed, according to the spokesman.
After several hours of trying to negotiate with the subject, he came out without incident and was taken into custody, the police spokesman stated.
The robbery that the detectives were investigating took place at 10:35 p.m. June 10 at 1843 Village West Parkway in Kansas City, Kansas, according to police.
