Police are asking the public to help in locating Tyrone Hamilton, 24, who is wanted for first-degree murder.
A warrant has been issued for Hamilton on first-degree murder and felon in possession of a firearm charges in connection with the Dec. 24 shooting in the 2000 block of North 56th Terrace, according to a police spokesman. A man died from gunshot wounds in the shooting.
Hamilton should be considered armed and dangerous, the spokesman said, and should not be approached.
The case is under investigation by the Kansas City, Kan., Police Department’s Criminal Investigations Division. Anyone with information is asked to call the TIPS hotline at 816-474-TIPS.
