Police rounding up cows in Lenexa today after accident

Police were rounding up 55 to 60 head of cattle today that were running loose near I-435 and K-10 in Lenexa after a semi overturned, according to KDOT. Motorists were advised to avoid the area. Update: At 2 p.m., there were still some cows on the loose, according to KDOT. Eastbound K-10 at Ridgeview has reopened to traffic, while westbound I-435 to westbound K-10 ramp was still closed.
