Police request public’s help in locating man charged in connection with woman’s death

Law enforcement officials are asking the public to help locate the man who is charged with second-degree murder and criminal possession of a firearm in connection with the murder of Casey Eaton on April 19 in the 900 block of Kansas Avenue. Eaton is the sister of Pamela Butler, who was slain in the same general area of Kansas City, Kansas, about 17 years ago.

The Kansas City, Kansas, police and U.S. Marshals Service are requesting the public’s help. Emenencio C. Lansdown, 41, was charged with second-degree murder and criminal possession of a firearm in the case, according to a Kansas City, Kansas, police spokesman.

He is not currently in custody, authorities said.

He was last seen in the Armourdale area of Kansas City, Kansas, on Wednesday evening.

Lansdown is described as a 5-9, 130-pound man with a bald, shaved head and blue eyes. He has multiple tattoos including “Cassie” on the side of his neck and upper back.

Police said he should be considered armed and dangerous.
