Police request public’s assistance in identifying suspects

Kansas City, Kansas, police are asking the public’s assistance in identifying three suspects in an attempted robbery at the Save-A-Lot grocery store at 21st and Metropolitan Avenue, Kansas City, Kansas.

About 1:15 p.m. Friday, Jan. 18, three males ranging from their late teens to early 20s pushed down a 79-year-old woman, attempting to rob her, according to a police spokesman.

They were interrupted by witnesses, and the suspects fled southwest toward the Silver City Apartments, 22nd and Silver Court.
