Police receive new information about vehicle in shooting case

The Kansas City, Kan., police are now looking for a 2009-2010 Dodge Magnum in connection with a shooting case June 13 in the area of I-35 and Southwest Boulevard, a spokesman said today.

Police received new information about the vehicle, the spokesman said. It was silver-greenish in color, the spokesman said.

At 2:35 p.m. June 13, police responded to I-35 and Southwest Boulevard to find a vehicle in the intersection, and a man who had been shot was inside the vehicle, according to police. The victim is in his 30s and sustained injuries that are life-threatening, police said. He was taken to a hospital.

The police criminal investigations division is investigating the case. Anyone with information about the vehicle or the case is asked to call the TIPS hotline at 816-474-TIPS.
