Police vehicle slides on icy roads
An officer was responding to an alarm call around 2:40 a.m. in the 2200 block of Metropolitan Avenue when the patrol car slid off the roadway and hit a fire hydrant, according to a social media post by the Kansas City, Kansas, Police Department.
The vehicle had minor damage, and the officer was not injured, according to the report.
