Domestic battery, assault reported
Aggravated domestic battery and aggravated assault were reported at 5 a.m. Dec. 22, according to a social media post by the Kansas City, Kansas, Police Department.
During an argument, a suspect choked a victim, and the victim could not breathe, according to a victim’s statement. The suspect then pointed a knife at the victim and threatened to kill the victim, according to the report.
The victim had minor injuries and the suspect was taken into custody, according to police.
Shooting reported in 4300 block of Everett
A shooting into an unoccupied residence was reported at 2 a.m. Dec. 22 in the 4300 block of Everett Avenue, according to a social media post by the Kansas City, Kansas, Police Department.
Victims stated they had left the residence, and when they returned, the found a bullet hole in the home, according to the report.
