Car theft suspect allegedly punches victim
A car theft suspect allegedly punched a victim during an incident at 7:45 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 14, in the 3000 block of Everett Avenue, according to a social media post by the Kansas City, Kansas, Police Department.
The victims told police they heard their vehicle start, according to the report. They saw it backing up and stopped the driver.
The suspect then left the vehicle and alleged punched a victim, causing major injuries, the report stated. The victims held the suspect to the ground until police arrived.

A victim told officers that the victim set down a wallet with money inside and later walked off around 10:12 p.m. Saturday in the 700 block of North 7th, according to a social media post by the police department.
When the victim realized the victim had left the wallet and went back to look for it, it was gone, according to the report. It is believed that an unknown suspect took the wallet.
