Aggravated domestic battery reported
Police responded about 8 p.m. Dec. 12 on an aggravated domestic battery report.
According to a social media post by the Kansas City, Kansas, Police Department, a victim reported that a suspect grabbed the victim’s neck, and the victim could not breathe. The suspect then left the scene. The victim had minor injuries.
Suspect arrested on drug charge
A suspect was arrested on drug charges around 8 p.m. Dec. 12 in the 2400 block of North 22nd Street, according to a social media post by the police.
Police stopped a vehicle for a traffic violation, and the suspect fled from the vehicle on foot. Police took the suspect into custody a short distance away, according to the report. The suspect was in possession of a large amount of drugs and property to sell drugs, according to police.
Aggravated burglary, robbery reported
An aggravated burglary and aggravated robbery case was reported in the 8200 block of Tauromee at 11:40 p.m. Dec. 12, according to a social media post by police.
Victims stated that unknown suspects entered the home. The suspects held the victims at gunpoint and stole property, then fled, according to the report.
