Robbery reported on Minnesota Avenue
An aggravated robbery was reported at 9:20 p.m. Dec. 4 in the 800 block of Minnesota Avenue, according to a social media post by the Kansas City, Kansas, Police Department.
The victims were walking to their vehicle, according to the report, and the suspect approached the victims with a gun, demanding their property. The suspect left on foot with the victims’ belongings, according to the report.
Aggravated battery, criminal damage reported
Aggravated domestic battery and criminal damage were reported at 12:10 a.m. Dec. 5, according to a social media post by the Kansas City, Kansas, police.
The victim stated the suspect choked and held the victim’s head underwater, and the victim could not breathe. The suspect then damaged the victim’s property, according to report. The suspect later was taken into custody. The victim had minor injuries, according to police.
Aggravated battery, drug possession reported
Aggravated domestic battery and possession of illegal drugs was reported at 1:08 a.m. Dec. 5, according to a social media report by Kansas City, Kansas, police.
The victim was choked by the suspect, then the suspect hit and pointed a gun at the victim, according to the report.
While inside the house, officers saw illegal drugs, the report stated. The suspect was taken into custody. The victim had minor injuries.
