Shooting into occupied vehicle reported at James Street
A shooting into an occupied vehicle was reported at 4:15 a.m. Nov. 22 at North James Street and Lyons Avenue, according to a social media post by the Kansas City, Kansas, Police Department.
The victim told police he was driving to work when a silver four-door vehicle pulled alongside and began shooting, according to police. His vehicle was struck several times, and the suspects fled the scene.
Shots fired on Gilmore Avenue
An aggravated assault was reported at 4:28 a.m. Nov. 22 in the 1100 block of Gilmore Avenue, according to a social media post by police.
Several people were arguing in the street, and then it escalated into shots fired, witnesses told police. An apartment building and a vehicle were hit by gun fire, according to police.
