Aggravated assault reported on South 20th

Victims told police that they were being chased by an unknown person, heard gunfire and wrecked their vehicle about midnight in the 100 block of South 20th Street, according to a social media post by Kansas City, Kansas, police. There were no injuries and the suspect fled before officers arrived, according to police.

Aggravated burglary reported on Spring Avenue

An unknown suspect reportedly entered a home through an open garage door and took a purse from an unlocked vehicle at 12:15 a.m. Nov. 18 in the 12800 block of Spring Avenue, according to a social media post by police.

Assault reported on Washington Boulevard

A victim told police that a suspect swung a knife at him during a verbal argument at 12:20 a.m. Nov. 18 in the 400 block of Washington Boulevard, according to a social media report by the Kansas City, Kansas, police. The suspect fled before officers arrived. There were no injuries, according to police.

Aggravated domestic assault reported
A suspect became upset with her boyfriend around 1:45 a.m. Sunday, Nov. 17, in the 400 block of North 7th Street, according to a social media post by the Kansas City, Kansas, Police Department.

The suspect began damaging walls and then threw a hammer at the victim, police stated. The victim was not injured.

Aggravated domestic battery reported
A victim told police that after an argument around 1:18 a.m. Nov. 16 in the 7300 block of State Avenue, her boyfriend became angry and began choking her, which impeded her breathing. The victim had a minor injury, according to a social media post by police.
