Aggravated assault reported
An aggravated assault was reported at 8:50 p.m. Oct. 15, according to a Kansas City, Kansas, Police Department post on social media. A victim stated he was gathering property to move out a residence, and his girlfriend fired a gun in the air during an argument, according to police. Police officers arrived and took the girlfriend into custody, according to the post.
Arrest made in connection with illegal items in vehicle
On the weekend, police responding to a suspicious vehicle call made an arrest for a felon in possession of a gun, possession of meth with intent to distribute, possession of marijuana and possession of two stolen guns, according to a social media post by the Kansas City, Kansas, Police Department.
