Officers arrest driver after traffic crash
Officers who responded to a dispatched traffic crash at 1:14 p.m. Dec. 2 in the 1200 block of Kansas Avenue learned from a records check that one of the drivers had active warrants, according to a social media post by the Kansas City, Kansas, Police Department.
The officers handcuffed the suspect and were walking him to a patrol unit when the suspect tried to escape custody by running, according to the report.
The suspect then was booked into the Wyandotte County Jail, the report stated.
