Burglary, battery reported in 100 block of North Hallet
A burglary and battery was reported on Nov. 24 in the 100 block of North Hallet, according to a social media post by the Kansas City, Kansas, Police Department.
The victim reported hearing a loud noise at the rear of her residence, the report stated.
She went to check and saw a suspect in his 20s wearing dark clothing, mask and gloves, the report stated. He had kicked open the back door and was inside the residence, according to the report.
The victim sustained a minor injury but refused medical treatment, the report stated.
