Stolen vehicle tracked near 37th and Oak

Officers at 6:47 a.m. Nov. 3 assisted the Kansas Highway Patrol, which had tracked a stolen vehicle and an individual matching the description of a suspect given by the victim, according to a social media post by the Kansas City, Kansas, Police Department.

The location was on North 37th and Oak Avenue, according to the report, north of Leavenworth Road.

A firearm was found in the vehicle, and the suspect was found to be on parole for robbery, according to the report. The suspect was taken into custody.

Stabbing reported on North 18th

A stabbing was reported at 8:48 p.m. Nov. 3 in the 400 block of North 18th Street, according to a social media post by the Kansas City, Kansas, Police Department.

The victim was inside an apartment building with nonthreatening stab wounds to the leg, according to the report. The victim refused to cooperate with police and provide information, the report stated.

Victim attacked, vehicle stolen near 55th and Leavenworth Road

A victim noticed a suspect inside his vehicle and confronted him around 10:30 p.m. Nov. 3 in the 5500 block of Leavenworth Road, according to a social media post by the Kansas City, Kansas, Police Department.

The suspect then attacked the victim, stole his vehicle keys and fled in the victim’s vehicle, according to the report.
