Aggravated assault reported on Ann Avenue

A victim reported that a suspect became angry when she was not allowed in the apartment, around 5:13 a.m. Nov. 2 in the 1000 block of Ann Avenue, according to a social media post by the Kansas City, Kansas, Police Department.

The suspect pulled a knife and threatened to kill the victim, causing her to fear for her life, according to the report.

The suspect left, but was found a short distance away and booked into the Wyandotte County Jail, according to the report.

Arson reported on Brenner Drive

Police officers were dispatched to a fire at 12:24 a.m. Nov. 2 in the 4300 block of Brenner Drive, according to a social media post by the Kansas City, Kansas, Police Department.

A juvenile had entered a bathroom and started a fire whle others were in the facility, according to the report. The suspect was taken to the Wyandotte County Detention Center.

Shots fired during robbery on North 48th Terrace

A victim reported that while working on his vehicle in front of his home at 9:30 p.m. Nov. 2 in the 2700 block of North 48th Terrace, two younger males approached him and pointed a handgun at him, according to a social media post by the Kansas City, Kansas, Police Department.

The suspects demanded his keys and other property, the report stated.

Before leaving, the suspects shot at the ground where the victim was lying, the report stated.
