Shooting reported near 9th and Sandusky
A victim told officers he heard several gunshots outside his residence around 4:22 a.m. Oct. 25 near 9th and Sandusky, according to a social media post by the Kansas City, Kansas, Police Department.
When he went outside he found several places on his house and property that had been struck, according to the report. Two vehicles also were damaged.
Stolen auto reported on South 51st
Officers responded on a welfare concern and found a suspect asleep in a vehicle, about 10:23 a.m. Oct. 25 in the 2900 block of South 51st, according to a social media post by the Kansas City, Kansas, Police Department.
The vehicle was reported stolen out of Kansas City, Kansas, according to the report.
The suspect was removed from the vehicle and placed under arrest, according to the report. Methamphetamine was found in his possession, the report stated.
Aggravated assault reported at 63rd and Sandusky
Aggravated assault and battery was reported at 10:22 p.m. Oct. 25 near 63rd and Sandusky, according to a social media post by the Kansas City, Kansas, Police Department.
Several suspects arrived at a residence looking for one of the victims, the report stated. A gun was pointed at one of the victims while the other two were attacked, the report stated.
All suspects fled before officers arrived, according to the report.
