A home was struck by bullets in a shooting at 12:41 a.m. Oct. 24 in the 2300 block of Grandview Boulevard, according to a social media post by the Kansas City, Kansas, Police Department.

Officers responded to a dispatched call about the shooting. There was damage to the home, and no injuries were reported, the report stated.

Burglary reported near 9th and Minnesota

Officers responded to a dispatched alarm call about a burglary at 7:36 a.m. Oct. 24 in the 900 block of Minnesota Avenue, according to a social media post from the Kansas City, Kansas, Police Department.

Officers found damage to the property, the report stated.

Assault reported near 15th and Minnesota

An aggravated assault was reported at 3 p.m. Oct. 24 in the 1500 block of Minnesota Avenue, according to a social media post by the Kansas, City, Kansas, Police Department.

The victims said a suspect entered their dwelling to discuss personal matters, according to the report.

During the conversation, the suspect brandished a weapon and made verbal threats, the report stated. The suspect then fled, according to the report.

Aggravated battery reported

Aggravated battery was reported at 10:42 p.m. Oct. 24, according to a social media post by the Kansas City, Kansas, Police Department.

Officers responded on a dispatched walk-in shooting call in the 8900 block of Parallel Parkway, according to the report.

The victim was not cooperative and gave a limited statement, according to the report. Officers were unable to locate a crime scene based on the statement.
