Victim wounded by gunfire

A victim was wounded by gunfire about 12:11 am. Oct. 22 in the 3100 block of Coronado Road, according to a social media post by the Kansas City, Kansas, Police Department.

Police responded, and the victim was taken to the hospital for medical treatment, the report stated.

Officers were able to locate the original crime scene, according to the report.

Intentional crash alleged on I-70

Officers responded to a vehicle crash call from dispatchers about 3:24 a.m. Oct. 22 on I-70, according to a social media post by the Kansas City, Kansas, Police Department.

It was determined the suspect intentionally rammed the victim’s vehicle while traveling on I-70, causing a traffic crash, the report stated.

The suspect was taken into custody, according to the report. There were no injuries reported.

Knife brandished in domestic case

Officers were sent to a domestic disturbance call about 1:11 p.m. Oct. 22 in the 100 block of South 15th Street, according to a social media post by the Kansas City, Kansas, Police Department.

The victim stated that during an argument, the suspect struck her and brandished a knife, and also made a threat, according to the report. The suspect was taken into custody, the report stated.

Victims shot at while driving on Swartz Road

Victims told police that while they were driving in the 4300 block of Swartz Road at 5:55 p.m. Oct. 22, an unidentified vehicle pulled next to them and shot at them, according to a social media post by the Kansas City, Kansas, Police Department.

The vehicle was damaged, the report stated.

Shooting reported on State Avenue

Officers responded to a dispatched shots fired call around 9:30 p.m. Oct. 22 in the 5900 block of State Avenue, according to a social media post by the Kansas City, Kansas, Police Department.

The victims said their residence and property had been struck by gunfire, according to the report.

Victim has minor injuries after shooting on Armstrong

A victim had minor injuries from flying glass during a shooting at 9:45 p.m. Oct. 22 in the 7400 block of Armstrong Avenue, according to a social media post by the Kansas City, Kansas, Police Department.

The residence was struck with gunfire, causing damage, the report stated.

Aggravated robbery reported near 47th and Parallel

Officers responded to a dispatched armed disturbance call about 12:30 p.m. Oct. 22 in the 4700 block of Parallel Parkway, according to a social media post by the Kansas City, Kansas, Police Department.

The victims were putting gas in their vehicle when an unknown person pulled up, pointed a weapon at the first victim and demanded property. A victim gave the property to the suspect, who fled, the report stated.

The suspect vehicle was later found unoccupied, according to the report.
