Attempted burglary reported in 6600 block of State
Officers responded to an alarm call about 12:32 a.m. Oct. 17 in the 6600 block of State, according to a social media post by the Kansas City, Kansas, Police Department.
Officers saw two broken windows on the east side of the business, according to the report.
No suspects were on the premises and there was no obvious missing property from the business, according to the report. A representative of the business came out to secure the building and check for items that may have been stolen.
Two locations struck by gunfire
A shooting was reported at two locations at 9:46 p.m. Oct. 17 in the 2300 block of North 11th, according to a social media post by the Kansas City, Kansas, Police Department.
Officers verified that two addresses had been struck, and evidence was processed, the report stated. No injuries were reported, according to police.
