Shots fired on 18th Street, road rage suspected
A victim told police that he was driving north on 18th Street, just south of Rowland, at 2:34 p.m. Oct. 16 when a vehicle drove in front of him and slammed on the brakes, according to a social media post by the Kansas City, Kansas, Police Department.
Another vehicle behind him fired two rounds at the victim’s vehicle, the report stated.
The first car then drove off, and the other car drove in front of him, firing again, the report stated.
The victim said he believed it was a road-rage incident, according to the report. The victim was not injured but was in fear for his life, the report stated.
Domestic battery reported on Orville
Officers responded to an armed disturbance call in connection with domestic battery at 11:45 p.m. Oct. 16 on Orville Avenue, according to a social media post by the Kansas City, Kansas, Police Department.
Officers took the suspect into custody, according to the report. The victim had minor injuries.
