Residence hit by gunfire on Ohio
Officers responding to a shots fired call at 71st and Riverview, discovered a residence in the 7000 block of Ohio was hit by gunfire, as well as an unoccupied vehicle outside, according to a social media report by the Kansas City, Kansas, Police Department.
There were no injuries, according to the report. Detectives were notified about the case.
Home on Quindaro struck by gunfire
A home in the 2600 block of Quindaro Boulevard was struck by gunfire about 4:20 p.m. Sept. 1, according to a social media post by the Kansas City, Kansas, Police Department.
It was the same neighborhood where there was a shooting death at 12:45 p.m. that day.
Victims said they were inside a residence in the 2600 block of Quindaro at 4:20 p.m. when an unknown suspect shot at and struck their home. Gunfire caused damage to the residence, the report said. Victims were not injured.
