Aggravated burglary reported
Officers responded to a burglary call about 1 a.m. Aug. 16 in the 4900 block of Crest Drive, according to a social media post from the Kansas City, Kansas, Police Department.
When they arrived, victims said that unknown suspects had entered the residence without permission. The suspects removed several electronic items from the house and fled, according to the report. Evidence was recovered from the scene.
Victim confronts suspect
Officers responded to a burglary report at 2 a.m. Aug. 16 in the 300 block of North 7th Street, according to a social media post by the Kansas City, Kansas, Police Department.
The victim said she had returned home and found the suspect inside her house.
The victim confronted the suspect and demanded her property be returned; then the suspect pushed her out of the way and fled, the report stated.
The suspect was located and taken into custody, and booked in the jail, according to the report. Detectives were notified.
