Shots fired at tractor-trailer on James Street
Officers responded to a report of shots fired at 11:50 a.m. Aug. 11 in the 300 block of North James Street.
The victim said while exiting westbound I-70 onto James Street in his tractor-trailer, a black Saturn Vue, an SUV-crossover, driven by a man pulled up next to him and fired several rounds from a handgun, according to the report.
Bullets struck the passenger side of the rig, the report stated. The victim was not injured. Crime scene investigators responded and detectives were notified, according to the report.
