Driver hit by gunfire while traveling on I-70
A driver was hit by gunfire while traveling on I-70 at 12:50 a.m. Aug. 2, according to a social media post by the Kansas City, Kansas, Police Department.
According to the report, the victim was traveling on I-70 near I-635 when an unknown person shot at his vehicle, striking him and causing a non-life-threatening injury.
Drive-by shooting reported on Sandusky
Victims said that several occupants of a vehicle drove by their residence brandishing guns and fired several shots at 10:20 p.m. Aug. 2 in the 1000 block of Sandusky Avenue, according to a social media post by the Kansas City, Kansas, Police Department.
There were no injuries, according to the report.
Home hit by gunfire
A victim heard gunfire outside her home and found damage to the home about 2:30 p.m. Aug. 2 in the 2800 block of Hiawatha Street, according to a social media post by the Kansas City, Kansas, Police Department.
There were no injuries, the report stated.
