Homes struck when people in cars reportedly shot at each other
Officers responded to reports of persons in multiple cars shooting at each other around 9 p.m. Sept. 17 in an area near 82nd and Armstrong in Kansas City, Kansas.
Two homes were struck by gunfire, and no injuries were reported, according to a police spokesman. The suspects fled before officers arrived, police stated.
Aggravated assault reported on North 18th Street
An aggravated assault was reported about 9:27 p.m. Sept. 18 in the 400 block of North 18th Street, according to a social media post by Kansas City, Kansas, Police Department.
The victim stated that an unknown suspect got upset during a short exchange and presented a firearm, according to police. The victim feared for his life and called police.
Stabbing reported in 2300 block of Victoria Drive
Two victims reported being stabbed Sept. 18 in the 2300 block of Victoria Drive (not far from Shawnee Drive), according to a social media post by the Kansas City, Kansas, Police Department. The victims had non-life-threatening injuries, according to police.
