Shooting into home reported on North 22nd
A shooting into an occupied residence was reported at 11:45 p.m. Aug. 29 in the 2700 block of North 22nd Street, according to a social media post by the Kansas City, Kansas, Police Department. Police stated the victim said the residence and a vehicle were hit by gunfire. There were no injuries in the shooting.
Aggravated robbery reported
An aggravated robbery was reported at 10:30 p.m. Aug. 28 in the 6300 block of State Avenue, according to a social media post by the Kansas City, Kansas, Police Department. An unknown suspect demanded a victim’s cell phone at gunpoint, according to police. The suspect told the victim to walk away, and later the victim found police officers and reported the incident.
