The victim, who was uncooperative, was taken to a nearby hospital for treatment of major injuries , according to the report.
Auto theft and chase reported on Orville
An officer saw a stolen vehicle in the area of the 3200 block of Orville Avenue about 9:15 a.m. March 27, according to a social media report from the Kansas City, Kansas, Police Department.
The suspect fled and a pursuit began, police reported. The vehicle later wrecked, and the suspect fled on foot, police said. The suspect was taken into custody a short distance away, police reported.
