According to the report, the victims were in fear for their life because of the gunfire.

Shooting into vehicle reported

Unknown suspects started shooting at a victim at at 9:41 p.m. March 21 in the 2200 block of New Jersey Avenue, according to a social media post by the Kansas City, Kansas, Police Department.

The victim’s vehicle was struck several times, according to the report. The victim was not injured.

The victim shot back at the suspect in self-defense, according to the report.

Burglary reported on Minnesota Avenue

A burglary was reported at 1:24 a.m. March 20 in the 800 block of Minnesota Avenue, according to a social media post by the Kansas City, Kanas, Police Department.

A window was broken out of a business. The suspect entered the building and took property, according to police.

Robbery reported on Simpson

A robbery was reported at 4:22 a.m. March 20 in the 700 block of Simpson Avenue, according to a social media report by the Kansas City, Kansas, Police Department.

The victim was sleeping in the victim’s vehicle when the suspect entered, the report stated. The suspect woke up the victim and took property from the victim under threat of harm, the report stated.

Shooting into vehicle on Steele reported

A victim was inside a vehicle when a suspect began shooting about 2:56 p.m. March 20 in the 1800 block of Steele Road, according to a social media report by the Kansas City, Kansas, Police Department.

The suspect shot the victim’s car and then another vehicle, according to the report. The victim did not want to press charges.

Shot fired in argument

A suspect and a victim got into an argument about 6:07 p.m. March 20 in the 300 block of 70th Terrace, according to a social media report by the Kansas City, Kansas, Police Department.

The suspect shot a gun into the air and fled, according to the report.
