Cruelty to animal reported
A report came in that a suspect shot a dog from a porch about 12:08 a.m. March 10, according to a social media post by the Kansas City, Kansas, Police Department.
Officers and animal services responded to investigate the incident, according to the report.
Burglary reported
Officers found a suspect sleeping in a vehicle about 11:14 a.m. March 9 in the 700 block of State Avenue, according to a social media post by the Kansas City, Kansas, Police Department.
The suspect allegedly had taken property from the vehicle, according to the report. The suspect was taken into custody.
