Armed robbery reported on North 62nd Place

A victim was hanging out with a suspect on March 5, according to a social media post by the Kansas City, Kansas, Police Department.

The suspect later pointed a gun at the victim and demanded items, in the 1000 block of North 62nd Place at 4 p.m. March 5, according to the report. The victim complied with the demands and was left on the side of the road, the report stated.

Road rage reported on Splitlog

A victim stated that a suspect pointed a gun at the victim in an apparent road rage incident at 4:56 p.m. March 5 in the 7800 block of Splitlog Avenue, according to a social media post by the Kansas City, Kansas, Police Department.

Sexual assault reported

A victim reported on March 5 that a suspect touched the victim in a sexual manner without consent, according to a social media post by the Kansas City, Kansas, Police Department.

Three pursuits reported

Kansas City, Kansas, police reported three pursuits on March 5, according to a social media post by the police department.

Officers tried to stop a vehicle for a traffic violation at 12:48 a.m. in the 7200 block of Kansas Aenue, according to the report. The vehicle did not stop and a pursuit was begun. The pursuit later was terminated, according to the report.

A vehicle stopped for a traffic violation at 4:30 p.m. in the 3400 block of Kimball Avenue, and then took off after a short time, according to a social media report by the police department. A pursuit was initiated, went a short distance and then was terminated, according to the report.

A pursuit was initiated at 11:42 p.m. in the 1400 block of Oak Grove Road when a vehicle did not stop for a traffic violation, according to a social media post by the police department. The vehicle did not stop, a pursuit was begun and later was terminated, the report stated.
