Victim threatened on 3rd Street
A victim stated that a suspect drove up to the victim while the suspect had a gun on the suspect’s lap, about 2:23 p.m. March 4 in the 2100 block of North 3rd Street, according to a social media post by the Kansas City, Kansas, Police Department.
The suspect told the victim he would kill the victim, while the suspect had a hand on the gun, according to the report.
Injuries reported in incident on Mission Road
A victim had a non-life-threatening cut during an incident at 5:30 p.m. March 4 in the 4300 block of Mission Road, according to a social media post by the Kansas City, Kansas, Police Department.
The suspect was still inside the house armed with a knife, according to the report. The suspect intentionally cut himself with the knife, the report said.
Officers ordered the suspect to drop the knife and he complied, but then charged at officers, according to the report. Officers used defensive actions to get the suspect into custody, the report stated.
An officer suffered a cut during the struggle, according to the report. The suspect and officer were taken to a hospital with minor injuries, the report stated.
Police vehicle hits deer in road
A police vehicle on the way to a call dodged one deer near the 2700 block of North 22nd Street, and then a second deer appeared in the road, according to a social media report by the Kansas City, Kansas, Police Department.
The officer was unable to dodge the second deer, striking it at a very low speed, according to the report. The police vehicle sustained minor damage, the report stated.
Armed robbery reported after being motorist cut off in traffic

When the victim stopped, the suspect came out of the suspect’s vehicle and pointed a gun at the victim, according to the report.
The suspect demanded the victim’s property, according to the report. The victim gave the property to the suspect and the suspect fled, according to the report.
Victim treated at hospital after being struck

Shooting reported at occupied home
Victims were inside their home when they heard gunshots about 9:57 p.m. March 4, according to a social media post by the Kansas City, Kansas, Police Department.
There were juveniles inside the home, according to the report. No injuries were reported.
Two pursuits reported
Kansas City, Kansas, police, in a social media post, reported two pursuits on March 4.
At 4:18 p.m. March 4, police got a call about a stolen vehicle in the area. They tried to stop the vehicle, and when it did not stop, a pursuit was initiated, according to the report. The pursuit went a short distance and was then stopped.
At 7:37 p.m., officers tried to stop a vehicle for a traffic violation in the 1200 block of Quindaro Boulevard, according to the report. The vehicle did not stop and a pursuit was begun, and the pursuit was later terminated, the report stated.
