Shooting reported on 7th Street
A victim was shot multiple times at 1:05 a.m. Feb. 21 in the 200 block of North 7th Street, according to a social media post by the Kansas City, Kansas, Police Department.
The victim fled on foot, according to the report. A person unrelated to the incident found the victim and called 911, the report stated. The victim was taken to an area hospital and was last said to be in stable condition.
Pursuit reported on Minnesota Avenue
Police pursued a vehicle that did not stop for expired tags and a traffic violation at 12:17 a.m. Feb. 21 in the 2000 block of Minnesota Avenue, according to a social media post by the Kansas City, Kansas, Police Department.
The vehicle failed to stop and a pursuit was initiated, according to the report. The pursuit went a short distance and then was terminated, the report stated. The suspect was not apprehended.
Four more pursuits reported
Four more pursuits were reported by the Kansas City, Kansas, Police Department. In all the cases, officers attempted to stop vehicles for a traffic violation, the vehicle failed to stop and the pursuit was started, according to the reports. The pursuit was then terminated, without the suspect being apprehended.

• 5500 block of Parallel Parkway, 9:45 p.m. Feb. 21.
