Victims shot by suspect
A suspect shot victims about 11:11 a.m. Feb. 14, according to a social media post by the Kansas City, Kansas, Police Department. One victim was a juvenile. The victims were treated at a hospital for non-life-threatening injuries, police stated.
Suspect arrested after traffic stop
A suspect was arrested after a traffic stop around 6:40 p.m. Feb. 14 in the 5000 block of Parkview Avenue, according to a social media post by the Kansas City, Kansas, Police Department.
Officers stopped the suspect for a traffic violation, and the suspect was arrested for warrants, according to the report.
Officers saw illegal drug paraphernalia and located a stolen gun, police reported. Also, a computer check showed the suspect was prohibited from possessing a firearm, according to the report.
