Kansas City, Kansas, police are investigating a suspicious death in the 3200 block of Coronado Road.
Officers responded to the location just after 6 p.m. Monday, Dec. 18, after reports of a shooting, a police spokesman said.
A man in his 30s was found who appeared to have been shot and had life-threatening injuries, the police spokesman said. The man was taken to a hospital, where he later died, the police spokesman said.
Detectives are investigating the shooting as a suspicious death, the spokesman said. The location of the suspicious death is on Coronado Road, near North 12th Street and K-5.
The identity of the victim will not be released until there is positive identification and family notification, according to police.
