Kansas City, Kansas, police are investigating a shooting at 2:37 p.m. Wednesday, April 15, in the 700 block of Parallel Parkway.
According to a police spokesman, officers were sent to the location where they discovered the victim, a man in his 20s, inside a vehicle. The man had an apparent gunshot wound, police stated.
The victim was taken to a hospital with life-threatening injuries, according to the spokesman.
