Kansas City, Kan., police are investigating an apparent homicide in the 900 block of Miami Avenue, a police spokesman said.
At 11:29 a.m. Monday, July 20, officers responded to check on the welfare of an individual. They found a woman in her 30s inside a residence in the 900 block of Miami, dead from an apparent gunshot wound, a spokesman said.
The incident is under investigation by the Kansas City, Kan., Police Department’s Criminal Investigations Division. Anyone with information is asked to call the TIPS hotline at 816-474-TIPS.
