Kansas City, Kan., police are investigating a homicide in the 1800 block of Rowland Avenue, according to a spokesman.
Officers responded to a call about shots fired in the 1800 block of Rowland, and found two victims in the street, the spokesman said.
One of the victims was a man in his early 20s who was dead from an apparent gunshot wound, according to the spokesman.
Another victim was a man in his mid-40s who was taken to a hospital in critical condition, the spokesman said.
The incident is under investigation by the Kansas City, Kan., Police Department’s Major Case Unit, which is encouraging anyone with information to call the TIPS hotline at 816-474-TIPS.
