A shooting has been reported Wednesday morning in the 500 block of Lowell Avenue in Kansas City, Kan., according to police.
The shooting victim has serious injuries, according to a police spokesman.
Police responded to the shooting about 6:27 a.m. Jan. 4 and discovered a man who had been shot and was in the stairwell of the apartment building, the spokesman said.
The victim was taken to a hospital with serious injuries from the gunshot wound, the police spokesman said.
